Next time you go complaining about how heavy your bike is think about Jeff Peters from Belgium who spent 6 months building the heaviest rideable bicycle in the world.
The bike weighs in at 860kg or 1896 lbs (for you imperial types)
It is also over 2m high and over 5 meters long (you’ll need to work out the imperial measurements for yourself)
In order to actually qualify he had to ride the bike down a 100m straight (328ft) in a street in Mechelen in Belgium.
The thing that we love the most is that the bicycle is made from largely re-used and re-cycled materials.
Our hat is off to you Jeff.
